Community School

The Community School is a day school serving students ages 3 – 21 with severe physical, intellectual, health and communication challenges. The Community School integrates both a functional and developmental curriculum with standardized units of study which are based and aligned with Massachusetts curriculum frameworks. Through the use of thematic units the students are able to access the general education curriculum while working on skills related to communication, activities of daily living, academics, social/emotional development, behavior management, vocational and recreational.

Therapeutic Services Available

Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Counseling, Vision Services, Hearing Services, Adaptive Physical Education (APE)

Parent Support Program: Parent Advisory Council and daily communication with team support.
