Northshore Recovery High School
Recovery High Schools are public high schools where students earn a diploma while they are supported in their recovery from alcohol and drug use. tudents who attend Northshore Recovery High School have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder. They may or may not have other disabilities. Northshore Recovery High School has a highly qualified DESE licensed staff that includes teachers, special education teachers, a guidance counselor, a school social worker, and a nurse. The School is able to meet the needs of students with 504 plans or IEPs, and we work closely with districts to assure that students meet all graduation requirements.
Recovery High School features small classes with integrated clinical supports and the capacity for a high level of individualization. In addition to core academic subjects students are able to take classes in music and art, and participate in individual and group recovery counseling.
