Northshore Academy Lower School

Northshore Academy Lower School serves students who benefit from a small classroom with fully integrated clinical and behavioral support services. All students are in self-contained classrooms with fewer than 10 students. In addition to an academic curriculum based on the MA Curriculum Frameworks, all students participate in clinical groups focused on pragmatic language and the development of social skills, expressive therapy, and enrichment activities such as art and athletics. Staff at Northshore Academy work closely with districts to prepare students for return to a less restrictive environment with appropriate support services.
