Twain Program

The Twain Program is designed for students with social/emotional and behavior disorders. The program focuses on developing skills related to self-awareness, self-management, responsible decision making, social awareness, and relationship building. The program is located at LPVEC’s facility on Brush Hill Avenue in West Springfield. Students may access Career TEC for vocational education if appropriate. The program follows the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks. Students also receive individual and group counseling to facilitate the development of the critical skills needed to manage their own behavior.

Therapeutic Services Available

Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Counseling, Adaptive Physical Education (APE)

Parent Support Program: Parent Advisory Council is specific to the sending district.
