VISIONS – Vocational Instructional and Supported Industrial Opportunities with Natural Supports

The VISIONS program is designed to support individuals with intellectual disabilities over the age of 22 years in both community based day supports (CBDS), group vocational training, and employment. The VISIONS program provides participants with vocational and employment interest surveys, vocational training and counseling with the goal of obtaining community work placements. Through VISIONS, participants may be placed either individually or with one of our community partners who employ individuals for up to 25 hours a week of paid employment. As part of programming, participants engage in real-life transitional planning, paid vocational opportunities, as well as skill development and enhancement activities to build upon strengths, support independence and enrich quality of life participation within their greater community.
