SOAR Assessment Center

AVC’s SOAR Assessment Center collaborates closely with parents and districts to identify appropriate academic and clinical supports for middle and high school-aged students with social/emotional difficulties. Our deep repertoire of clinical and educational assessments helps teams better understand the skills and needs of our students to identify supports and strategies that will enable our students to progress in the least restrictive environment.

Therapeutic Services Available

Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Counseling, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, Psychiatric Consult, Wraparound Therapy

Parent Support Program: SOAR students & their families have access to Wraparound services if needed.

Additional Program Information: In addition to academics, SOAR students have access to groups, electives, music and art. Our center is located within a school that includes a full court gymnasium and outdoor recreational area that includes a track, fields, basketball court, & skate park.
