Early Childhood – Palmer River

The Early Childhood curriculum is based on principles of child development and early childhood education. The curriculum is child-centered; that is, the developmental level, individual needs, and special interests of each child provide the basis for planning the daily program, scheduling, and curriculum content. The teachers adhere to the philosophy that the best approach for young children and their families is one that provides for successful experiences for the children, their families, and the staff. Educators incorporate research-based best practices with supports provided by continual professional development, technical assistance, and a network of expert consultants.
